10+ years in
the making
Our story starts back in 2013 at San José State University, in a Digital Arts & Media lecture class where a random group generator paired us up for a project. Kane thought Rubén looked effortlessly cool in his jean jacket, and Rubén thought Kane looked like he definitely shopped at PacSun (which he did!).
We connected instantly over design and music, leading to spring breaks and summers spent between Northern and Southern California. Our weekends were filled with exploring San Francisco, Los Angeles, and beyond. We hopped between concerts, tiki bars, and plenty of craft fairs.
After over five years in the Bay Area, we made the leap and moved to San Diego, drawn by the perfect mix of city, beach, and creative community. We started a whole new chapter. Now, after 10 years of coffee drinking, furniture shopping, and Halloween decor hunting, we’re getting married!
